Coiner brings more than 10 years of franchise experience to this newly created position. Prior to joining Welcomemat Services, Coiner spent a decade working for Money Mailer in various capacities, most recently as the director of marketing. Coiner was instrumental in the franchise start-up process as well as turning around underperforming franchisees.
“As we continue to grow we want to provide all of our franchisees with the same one-on-one personal support they receive in the start-up phase of their business,” said Welcomemat Services CEO Brian Mattingly. “Coiner brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be invaluable to our franchisees.”
Welcomemat is expanding its corporate management team to keep up with the company’s growth. July was a banner month for the company with the addition of more than 40 new local accounts, including some of the biggest names in franchising such as Midas, Papa John’s, and Pizza Hut.
“Our franchisees have attracted some amazing companies recently,” said Mattingly. “We know Peggy will help our franchisees provide the best possible service to their clients so that other owners within franchise systems will want to take advantage of Welcomemat’s unique local marketing services.”
Welcomemat Services provides monthly direct-mail packages to individuals and families who have recently changed their address. The Welcomemat program is designed to target new residents when they move into an area by presenting them with invitations to try various businesses and organizations, helping them to get acclimated to their new surroundings.
Services began franchising in early 2011, and operates more than 25 franchised- and company-owned locations across the country. Projections call for nine new franchise locations in 2013, moving toward the goal of opening 200 locations over the next five years in high-profile, transient markets across the country.
