The New York area boasts more of this new store format than any other metropolitan area. With the addition of these two new locations, RadioShack has three new locations in Manhattan – where the first concept store debuted in July at 2268 Broadway. It has also opened locations in nearby Jersey City, N.J., and in Southampton on Long Island. The company's Manhattan Mall location was also remodeled this summer as one of its new, scalable "brand statement" stores, which feature many updates inspired by the spirit of the concept stores. The company plans to open or remodel a number of additional New York-area locations by the end of the year.
