OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwired - June 5, 2014) - On Saturday, June 7, 2014, Giant Tiger will celebrate the official opening of its new store in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting ceremony and speeches by some local dignitaries and the store manager, Daniel Nickerson. Giant Tiger is proud to be connected and committed to the communities we serve. There will be a charity BBQ benefitting the West Highlands Elementary School - get a hot dog and a drink for $1.
It will be a fun-filled day with plenty of free activities for customers of all ages, including gift card giveaways to the first 50 customers in store, free face-painting, free pictures from the fun Giant Tiger photo booth, fun carnival games including laser toss, Terry the Tiger Bouncy Castle, snow cones and, of course, visits from Friendly the Giant Tiger! There will also be promotional giveaways and Giant Value product sampling during the celebrations!
