Roger Rhoten Joins Faegre Baker Daniels Corporate Practice

Chicago - July 9, 2014 - Roger Rhoten has joined Faegre Baker Daniels' corporate practice in Chicago. He counsels clients on mergers and acquisitions, spin-off transactions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, securities offerings, joint ventures and private equity investments.

Rhoten's experience includes transactions of all sizes, ranging from venture investments to multi-billion dollar mergers and acquisitions. He also has significant experience in cross-border and other international transactions, including Baxter International Inc.'s $4 billion Gambro acquisition in 2013, and Molson Coors Brewing Company's $3.5 billion Starbev acquisition in 2012.

He has represented public companies, financial advisors and private companies. He also works with clients on corporate governance matters including SEC compliance, registration statement filings, shareholder protection and board best practices.

Prior to joining FaegreBD, Rhoten was a partner in the corporate practice group at Kirkland & Ellis. He holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana University, and received his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
