Charter Fitness Helps Students Go Back to School with Needed Supplies

All Clubs Collecting Supplies for Local Schools

Orland Park, IL (PRWEB) August 15, 2014 - With budget cuts continuing to impact funding for necessary school supplies, Charter Fitness and its thousands of club members are stepping up to help. Today through early September, each Charter Fitness location will be collecting supplies to help local schools to get the new school year started off right.

"This is the fifth year Charter Fitness clubs have been collecting supplies, and hopefully this year we will be able to serve more schools and kids," said Dan Collins, chief operating officer at Charter Fitness. "We appreciate our members helping us in this effort to give kids what they need to be successful at school."

Supplies needed most include paper, notebooks, crayons, pencils, markers, colored pencils, tissues and paper towels, hand sanitizer and calculators. New and nearly new backpacks are also appreciated.
