OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwired - May 7, 2015) - On Saturday, May 9, 2015, Giant Tiger will celebrate the official opening of its new store in Yarmouth, NS.
The new Giant Tiger will be located at 130 Starrs Road. This location will offer approximately 15,830 square feet of selling space.
Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting ceremony. There will be speeches by local dignitaries, charity representatives and store manager Daniel Nickerson. Giant Tiger is proud to be connected and committed to the communities we serve. There will be a charity BBQ for the Boys & Girls Club of Yarmouth and a charitable donation on behalf of the Giant Tiger Charitable Giving Foundation to the Yarmouth Food Bank Society.
It will be a fun-filled day with plenty of free activities for customers of all ages, including gift card giveaways to the first 50 customers in store, musical entertainment and, of course, a visit from Friendly, the Giant Tiger! There will also be promotional giveaways and Giant Value product sampling during the celebration.
Giant Tiger Yarmouth will also be hosting a Princess Meet and Greet from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
