July 12, 2016 // Franchising.com // New York, NY - The Halal Guys, the first mainstream American Halal food restaurant chain, is coming to NoVA! The brand, which has been expanding worldwide since 2014, will open at 6304 Springfield Plaza in Springfield, VA this summer.
The new franchise partners are opening the location as part of a plan to bring a total of 5 restaurants to the area, with future locations planned for Fairfax, Alexandria, Crystal City and Georgetown. Springfield is expected to open sometime mid-July.
Both new franchisees are eager to open in the territory, saying, “The Halal Guys brand is world renowned, and D.C. and Virginia have long awaited an opportunity to enjoy their world famous gyro & chicken locally. We are excited to open in this area, as we know the brand will be very well received here.”
