May 04, 2020 // Franchising.com // During these especially troubling times with the threat of COVID-19, as people live in uncertainty and distress and as medical professionals around the country are working tirelessly to save the lives of thousands of individuals, Copper Branch restaurants have shown their support to the community by passionately working with local hospitals and public institutions to donate hundreds of plant-based meals to our dedicated front-line workers.
In a time where many restaurants have closed their doors, several dedicated Copper Branch restaurants throughout Ontario and Quebec have remained opened, continuing to serve our customers through take-out and delivery, and collecting donations in-store and via our mobile app that are accumulated into weekly donations. With the support of our incredible customers, partners, and passionate franchisees, we have donated hundreds of meals to doctors, nurses, technicians, fire and policemen and women in cities across Ontario and Montreal.

Throughout Ontario, hundreds of meals have been donated to hospitals such as the Lakeridge Health in Ajax, Oshawa General Hospital, St-Joseph’s Health Care London, the London University Hospital, the Markham Hospital, Burnhamthorpe Police Dept., Kingston Humane Society, and others across Durham, Markham, London, Mississauga, and Ottawa. In Ottawa, our location in Barrhaven has also partnered with FrontLineFeeds, an incredible group of students who have come together during these times to support their community.
In Montreal, Copper Branch partnered with the incredible organization Operation Rainbow to fulfill our donations and delivery meals to hospitals across Montreal including the Jewish General, MUHC, Montreal Children’s, Ste-Justine, and more!
