May 05, 2021 // Franchising.com // WACO, TX - Stellar Brands, a platform company for home service brands, has completed the acquisition of Softroc®, a leading provider of rubberized surfacing for indoor and outdoor areas.
The deal marks the fourth brand on Stellar Brands’ roster, joining companies Restoration 1, a franchise that specializes in a wide array of emergency mitigations, restoration and reconstructions services; bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, a plumbing repair and installation; and The Driveway Company, a franchise for concrete driveway repair and maintenance. Combined, this brings the total number of locations to more than 375 awarded across all brands.

Softroc is composed of small rubber granules mixed on site with a specially formulated binder. It is poured in place and hand trowelled to accommodate the surface layer and is used anywhere that needs a permanent, non-slip, resilient surface. Softroc can be installed on most solid surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, wood, aluminum and steel and used in a wide variety of applications from swimming pools and decks, patios, playgrounds, home gyms, garages and more.
Softroc has relocated headquarters to Waco, where Courtney Harmon will serve as President. Under Stellar Brands’ leadership the brand plans to begin franchising immediately.
