Body Waxing Franchise Locations Upgrade in Anticipation of More Guests in Post-COVID World

As the country continues to line up for COVID-19 vaccinations and with the recent news that fully vaccinated individuals can resume regular maskless activities, these three locations are planning for the greater influx of guests looking for waxing services - just in time for summer.

“Our studios remodeling is a sign of the success, longevity and demand for the Uni K Wax Studio brand,” says Ozzie Grupenmager, Chief Operating Officer at UKW Franchising Company, LLC. “With the world returning to normal, we’re excited to see our brand continue to grow.”

The three locations currently in the process or completely done remodeling are:

• The London Square studio, located at 13550 SW 120 Street, Suite 448, in Miami, FL completed their renovations as of the beginning of this month.
• Uni K Wax’s Brickell studio, located at 900 South Miami Avenue, Suite 242, also in Miami, FL also completed their renovations as of the beginning of this month.
• Finally, the Miami Lakes studio, located at 15466 NW 77th Court in Miami, FL will complete their studio remodel and expansion in July of 2021.

Given the incredible support Uni K Wax provided their franchisees during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is no surprise that franchisees are able to not only keep their businesses running, but also expand.

“It was imperative that we provide the greatest amount of support to our franchisees during the last year,” says Grupenmager. “As a brand and franchise system, we are stronger together.”

Uni K Wax Studios ensured their franchisees financial health by providing franchise owners support in negotiating rent relief agreements with landlords. The brand also suspended all monthly recurring charges while studios were shut down and helped each studio create a reopening plan in accordance with the local and state protocols. The expansion of these locations is a true testament to the durability of the Uni K Wax Studio brand.
