Goodcents Founder Inducted Into Kansas Business Hall of Fame

May 24, 2022 // Franchising.com // DE SOTO, Kan. - Joe Bisogno, Goodcents founder and chairman of the board, has been inducted into the Kansas Business Hall of Fame, recognized for a lifetime of accomplishments as an entrepreneur, mentor and philanthropist.

“I have always aspired to be someone who others could learn from, and I am thrilled and humbled to be inducted into the Kansas Business Hall of Fame alongside so many leaders who I, myself, respect and admire very much,” Bisogno said.

Described as a “serial entrepreneur,” Bisogno started his career as a business owner with a lemonade stand at age 6, purchased an ice cream truck at 18 and later bought a gas station and a used car lot – with a dream to one day own his own restaurant.

After nearly 10 years of experience with McDonald’s Corp., Bisogno founded Mr. Goodcents Subs and Pastas® in Lenexa, Kansas, in 1989.

Bisogno also owns Custom Foods Inc., a bread manufacturer that creates custom dough products for restaurant chains, food service institutions, grocers and other organizations searching for a fresh twist on fundraising.

He is the founder of the Goodcents Foundation and a strong supporter of Habitat for Humanity, The Children’s Miracle Network and the Leukemia Society of America.
