June 07, 2022 // Franchising.com // MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Discover Strength, a Minnesota-based personalized strength training studio founded in 2006, has awarded two new franchises, including the first location outside of the Twin Cities. The studios in Rochester and Eden Prairie, Minnesota are set to open in September and will bring Discover Strength’s total number of locations to 10.
“I was 30 percent of the way into a book on franchising written by iFranchise Group CEO Mark Siebert when I thought ‘This is inevitable, we’re going to franchise,’” says Luke Carlson, Founder and CEO of Discover Strength.
Carlson ended up hiring iFranchise Group to work through the plan-of-action and the studio.
“The franchise concept with Discover Strength has given me a chance to be in control of my future finances. My life is busier now, but it’s not stressful because I’m doing something I love,” says Maple Grove franchisee Brad Stanke.
