February 23, 2023 // Franchising.com // The Bournemouth and Poole GoodOaks Homecare team helped client Peggy enjoy her big day with cake, flowers, family and friends. GoodOaks has been providing live-in care to Peggy since May 2021, where they help her with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, going to appointments and shopping.
Tina Cobb, Live-In Care Coordinator for Bournemouth and Poole said: “We were so happy to be able to help Peggy celebrate her 100th birthday – what an incredible milestone. I’ve known Peggy for a while now and it is so lovely she’s been able to stay living in the comfort of her own home as she wishes, I know it means a lot to her.
“Peggy loved the cake we bought her and was touched by the card that everyone had signed. I know she’ll be excited to receive her card from the King, I can’t wait to hear all about it next week!”
Peggy celebrated her special day with a party at home with her family and friends, she was also visited by her alternative carer Serap, whilst she was on break from her placement.
