Friendly’s Welcomes Back Fan Favorites, Unveiling Limited-Time Conehead™ Sundaes

April 04, 2024 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - Kids of all ages have adored the Conehead™ sundaes served at Friendly’s for decades, and now the Spring and Summer Conehead menu is here to welcome the warm weather with frosty creations and cool classic favorites everyone can enjoy.

From April through June, each month will have its own special Conehead Sundae:

• April - Turtle Sundae
  Indulge in the Turtle Sundae, featuring a perfect harmony of marshmallow, hot fudge, and mint chocolate chip ice cream adorned with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for flippers and M&M's for eyes, all crowned with a whimsical, whipped topping and gummy worm smile.
• May - Rockin’ Rockstar
  Rock out with our Rockin' Cone Head, a playful creation with a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup base, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and a funky Oreo and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup mohawk. Reese's Pieces add flair as eyes and a nose, while whipped topping ears complete this cool character.
• June - Ollie the Octopus
  Dive into Ollie the Octopus’ undersea adventure with strawberry ice cream nestled in a sea of blue marshmallow waves, topped with cherry eyes and gummy worm legs. This sundae is a sweet sensation that is just as fun to look at as it is to eat.

“We’re thrilled for our guests and their kids to experience these tasty new sundaes,” said Dawn Petite, president of Friendly’s Restaurants. “We have a lot of wonderful additions coming soon to our menu, but these Coneheads are here now to add a little sweetness to the beginning of our year. With our Founder’s Day, Summer Festival Menu, and of course, National Ice Cream Day coming up, there is much in store for Friendly’s fans.” 

All Conehead sundaes are affordably priced starting at $4.99. Throughout the year, Friendly's will continue to surprise and delight with monthly rollouts of additional Conehead varieties.
