February 06, 2025 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA, GA – Chicken Salad Chick announced today it is expanding in Kentucky with the opening of a new restaurant in Bowling Green, located at 2020 Scottsville Road, Suite 107. The Bowling Green community is invited to celebrate this grand opening on Tuesday, February 18, and the first 100 guests in line will win free chicken salad for a year*.
During the grand opening week, guests can expect to experience the Southern hospitality that Chicken Salad Chick is known for, as well as a community focused mindset with various specials and giveaways. These include:
Chicken Salad Chick of Bowling Green is led by Hannah Witherspoon of Em’s Chick, LLC, alongside her family, and will be their third opening with the brand. This family-owned franchisee group opened their first two locations in Evansville, Indiana and Owensboro, Kentucky only seven months apart, during the peak of the pandemic. Since joining the brand, Witherspoon has been eager to introduce the brand's Southern style, made from scratch offerings to the Bowling Green community.

I spent four years here in college and have the best memories,” said Hannah Witherspoon, franchise owner, Chicken Salad Chick of Bowling Green. “The Bowling Green restaurant was originally planned to be our first location back in 2020, but I’m now thrilled to finally make that dream a reality.”
Chicken Salad Chick is known for its dozen-plus variety of made-from-scratch chicken salad flavors, fresh side salads, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches, and desserts. The new Bowling Green restaurant offers in-restaurant dining, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering options.

Chicken Salad Chick gives back to important causes throughout the year, with the CSC Foundation raising money for local food banks and CURE Childhood Cancer. With the Bowling Green opening, the local team will be supporting the Salvation Army as part of their pre-opening Friends & Family events. The Salvation Army provides food, clothing, and financial support and assistance to those in need.
Chicken Salad Chick in Bowling Green will be open Monday – Saturday from 10:30am – 7:30pm
*Guests should arrive early to secure a place in line. The first 100 guests must remain in line and download the Chicken Salad Chick app. Wi-Fi will not be available on site. Once the restaurant opens, guests will make a purchase of “The Chick” or anything of equal/greater value and enter a code in the Chicken Salad Chick app to officially secure their spot. If you leave the line for any reason, your spot will be awarded to the next guest in line. Guests will receive their first free Large Quick Chick electronically to their app the Monday following Grand Opening Day.
