April 07, 2025 // Franchising.com // Coastal Carolina – 76 FENCE is excited to announce the opening of its newest locations in Coastal Carolina. Owned and operated by local entrepreneurs Philip and Candace Hixon, their new franchise locations will bring fencing solutions to residential and commercial customers across the region.
Philip and Candace Hixon, longtime residents of Coastal Carolina, are eager to introduce 76 FENCE to their community. With strong backgrounds in customer service, business management, and operations, they are well-equipped to meet the growing demand for top-tier fencing solutions in the area.
Candace brings over 16 years of experience in customer service, having worked as a dedicated library staff member serving local communities. Her passion for helping others and her expertise in organization and outreach make her a natural fit for the role. Philip, with 14 years of experience as an MRI, CT, and X-ray technologist and five years as an imaging supervisor, also holds a Master’s in Business Administration. Their long-time aspiration of business ownership has now become a reality with the launch of 76 FENCE Jacksonville and 76 FENCE Wilmington, serving Coastal Carolina.
“We believe our combined skills in customer service and operations management will allow us to provide a seamless, customer-focused experience,” said Candace Hixon. “We’re not just selling fences; we’re building relationships within our community.”
The company stands out for its commitment to quality, project turnaround times, and personalized customer service. The Hixons are committed to upholding these values while leveraging their skills to create a trusted name in fencing throughout Coastal Carolina.
The new 76 FENCE locations will cater to both residential and commercial clients, offering a range of high-quality fencing options tailored to customer needs through a virtual office. As Coastal Carolina continues to expand, the demand for fencing solutions is at an all-time high, and the Hixons are ready to meet that demand with superior products and service.
Beyond business, Philip and Candace are dedicated to community involvement. They plan to build relationships with local businesses, developers, and non-profit organizations. They also aim to sponsor a local little league team and participate in various community events.
“Our goal is to be the go-to fencing company in Coastal Carolina,” said Candace. “We want our customers to know they are working with a team that truly cares about their needs.”
This expansion into Coastal Carolina follows the opening of franchise locations in North Charlotte and Concord in December, led by franchise owner and regional developer Drew Myers.
The Hixons plan to host a grand opening celebration in the community along with representatives from the Jacksonville and Wilmington Chambers of Commerce later this spring.
