The franchise is owned and operated by Celeste Freeland, an experienced business professional and lifelong caregiver who is dedicated to providing compassionate, home care services to the greater Charlotte community.
Celeste’s journey to home care franchising has been shaped by both professional and personal experiences. She led teams through project management in healthcare for over 20 years. However, her most impactful experiences have been in caregiving, raising three sons as a single mom. These life experiences led her to advocacy work, where she helped families navigate complex support systems.
“I’ve always been drawn to helping others, whether it was through my career or in my personal life,” said Celeste. “Opening a CareBuilders at Home franchise feels like a natural transition—combining my business experience with my passion for caregiving.”
As a 19-year breast cancer survivor, Celeste has learned the importance of prioritizing care, both for herself and others. This perspective has strengthened her commitment to bringing quality home care to seniors and individuals in need throughout Charlotte.
The Tarheel state’s senior population is growing at a fast pace. The number of people aged 65 and older will increase by 50% through 2041. Charlotte, in particular is experiencing significant growth in the older adult population.
“I see the rising demand for in-home care in Charlotte and I’m excited to provide a much-needed service that makes a positive impact on families in my community, said Freeland.
