Joe Deitzer has built his career through grit, relationships, and a willingness to learn from the ground up—working his way up as a cook for six years before being named Executive Chef at Camp Siloam. Now, with support from his father, David, a CFO and small business operator, the pair is ready to build a reliable business closer to home. This isn’t the first time they’ve reached new heights as partners; in 2016, they successfully completed the 2,190-mile thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail together, a true feat for family hikers.
