August 28, 2026 // Franchising.com // DENVER, CO — Oakwell Beer Spa, the Colorado-based wellness destination known for its beer-inspired hydrotherapy experiences, has just announced the launch of its Wine Bath, a new addition to its signature soaking menu. The offering will debut at both Oakwell locations in Denver and Highlands Ranch, Colorado in early September.
The Wine Bath blends antioxidant-rich grape skin powder, rose petals, tulsi (holy basil), and flaked oats into a luxurious botanical soak. Guests will be able to select the Wine Bath infusion for their private spa suite's hydrotherapy tub after check-in, joining Oakwell's two existing bath infusions:
All three infusions can be added directly to the guest's hydrotherapy soaking tub and are part of the signature enhancements that make the Oakwell Beer Spa experience stand out.
While new to Oakwell's menu, the idea behind the Wine Bath is one the brand has been developing for years as part of their continuous efforts towards innovation. Oakwell's team had long discussed how to create a wine-inspired bathing experience that felt authentic to the brand's wellness philosophy.
Earlier this year, Oakwell decided to test the concept in a lighthearted way via an April Fools' Day campaign announcing that Oakwell Beer Spa was rebranding as "Oakwell Wine Spa," complete with photos of wine being poured into its soaking tubs. The campaign was meant as a playful gauge of guest interest, but the response exceeded expectations. Oakwell received more than 100 emails from guests asking the brand to bring the concept to life, confirming years of suspected demand for a thoughtfully crafted Wine Bath experience.
Wine baths have been enjoyed around the world for centuries, much like beer baths. Vinotherapy traditions span throughout Europe, particularly in the wine-producing regions of France and Spain, where grape-derived ingredients have long been used in wellness and beauty rituals. Co-Founder Damien Zouaoui was born and raised in France, where wine is woven into everyday culture, family traditions, and regional identity, giving this newest venture particular significance to him.
“Wine has always been a meaningful part of my culture growing up in France, so we’ve talked for years about bringing that tradition to Oakwell,” said Damien Zouaoui, Co-Founder of Oakwell Beer Spa. “When we launched the concept as an April Fools’ campaign, we never expected such an enthusiastic response. Our guests immediately asked us to make it real. The Wine Bath reflects what Oakwell does best: transforming wellness into an experience that is immersive, innovative, and genuinely fun.”
Grape skin powder sourced from Bordo grapes is the star of the show for Oakwell’s new infusion, a variety known for its deep color and naturally high concentration of polyphenols that have made grapes one of the most widely studied antioxidant-rich fruits. The brand has carefully sourced the ingredients for its newest infusion, with the grape skins used in the Wine Bath coming from Organovita, a family-owned vineyard in Brazil. After grapes are harvested for winemaking, the leftover skins still contain many of the beneficial plant compounds found throughout the fruit. Rather than letting this part of the harvest go to waste, Organovita carefully dries and mills the skins into a fine powder, giving them a second life in Oakwell's new Wine Bath infusion.
The use of grapes in wellness and beauty rituals has grown significantly over the past several decades. From luxury vinotherapy spas in France to globally recognized skincare brands such as Caudalie, grape-derived ingredients have become popular for their naturally occurring polyphenols, antioxidants associated with protecting against oxidative stress and supporting healthy-looking skin.
Through its new Wine Bath, Oakwell Beer Spa brings this tradition into its private spa suite experience. The infusion pairs grape skin powder sourced from a family-owned vineyard with complementary botanicals including rose petals, tulsi, and flaked oats, creating a relaxing ritual inspired by centuries of wine culture and modern wellness practices.
