Site Selection
Shakey's franchisees have the option of consulting our corporate real estate specialist for assistance in site selection. Once a franchisee submits a site for approval, we will help in analyzing its potential advantages and disadvantages through a site and trade area evaluation. Shakey's has final approval of any site.
Construction
Shakey's will provide a set of prototypical plans including architectural and engineering drawings. Elevations, equipment layout, interior décor and layout, interior and exterior signage and graphics. We will consult with your architects to adapt the plans to your site. Our development team is available for consultation regarding contractors and acquiring estimates. Our operations team will provide on-site construction checks and advise you on completing your project on time.
Training
To compete in today's restaurant market, management and staff must have the necessary knowledge and skills. Shakey's provides and eight-week training program and hands-on training support through field representatives. Skill-building programs are continually being developed and updated. Our training programs will help you achieve a high quality of product, customer service and cleanliness.

Purchasing
Our purchasing specialist assist franchisees in identifying and approving suppliers and distributors who meet Shakey's standards and specifications, while maintaining a strict quality control program. Our goal is to obtain the highest quality products at the best possible price for our customer you the franchisee.
Operations
Shakey's operations department will recommend and assist franchisee in implementing proven business and production practices. We will continually train the franchisee to the most up to date operations practices. A Shakey's field representative will be business partner and liaison among all departments. They are committed to visit you periodically to verify that your operations meet Shakey's standards and offer advice and assistance with any operational challenges.
Marketing
Our marketing department will advise franchisees on pre-opening promotions and grand opening activities for a successful Shakey's opening. The marketing department specializes in local store marketing that will enhance your community involvement and provide proven successful marketing tools that will assist you with your business.
Research and Development
Our research and development department is always keeping up with current trends and innovated ideas for new and existing product development. Our test kitchen is a product innovation center that is fully equipped for product testing and development.

Finding the right candidate with restaurant experience, financial and management resources to develop single and multiple locations and a passion for our brand is our commitment.
We are seeking both:
Single-Unit Franchise
The franchise fee for standard individual restaurants is $25,000 for a 10-year agreement. Build-out and equipment ranges from the low $776,500 to $2,082,500. The franchisee is responsible for building the restaurant and securing financing, if required.
Multi-Unit Area Developer
For franchisees interested in owning more than one Shakey's Pizza Parlor franchised restaurant, the Area Developer may open one restaurant at a time under separate Single Unit Franchise Agreements or may elect to protect exclusively a geographical territory by signing an Area Development Agreement. Under the Area Development Agreement umbrella, the developer/franchisee pays a $10,000 premium times the number of restaurants to be opened under the agreement. The franchise must then open the restaurants under the agreement according to a specified timetable.
