September 25, 2008 // Franchising.com // Chattanooga, Tenn. – In celebration of The Krystal Company's expansion in San Antonio, including the opening of the first Krystal Drive-In location in Texas this past July and the opening of a brand-new Krystal restaurant in October, the fast food icon will host a series of sampling events for area residents. The "Sample Saturdays" will take place at all San Antonio Krystal locations throughout the months of October and November and will provide Krystal guests the opportunity to sample for free the company's expansive menu options, many of which are not available at other Krystal locations in Texas.
"We're excited to celebrate our expansion in San Antonio by giving residents the chance to try our complete line-up of menu items for free," said Brad Wahl, vice president of marketing, The Krystal Company. "San Antonio is the only place in Texas you can get many of these great tasting products."
Guests visiting the Krystal restaurants located at 6446 NW Loop 410 and 7953 Pat Booker Road on October 4, October 18 and November 1, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., will have the opportunity to try a variety of menu items including Krystal offerings that are famously small in size yet big in taste. On October 18 and November 1, the brand new Krystal located at 10531 Culebra Road will also host the "Sample Saturdays," welcoming guests to the new restaurant and offering free samples of a variety of menu options.

The new Krystal located at 10531 Culebra Road is slated to open in early October and will be the third location in the San Antonio area. The new restaurant will feature a refreshing, efficient design that pays homage to the traditional Krystal look while showcasing the company's modern, new image. The location will be open seven days a week. The dining room will seat 38 people and the restaurant will employ 50 area residents.
