California business entrepreneurs Jim Parell and his wife Tinee are owner/operators of the new Master Franchise.

Mr. Parell has competed in several "Ironman" and "Ultra Marathon" events. He is a world traveler who previously was vice president-sales for a garment company. Tinee is a native of Manila, Philippines, who has lived in the U.S. for many years, and previously worked as a legal secretary. The Parells have been married three years and have one daughter.
