Oklahoma Franchisees support Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

June 25, 2009 // Franchising.com // Jersey Mike's Subs storeowner and Oklahoma area director Scott Warfel (left), and storeowners Jaime and Shawn Willis (center) and Alex and Sonia Shelton (right) presented Lauren Richardson (second from left) from FOX 25's Morning Show with a $10,000 check yesterday to help her raise money for the Oklahoma City Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The $10,000 helped Richardson raise $36,000 for the charity, surpassing her goal of $30,000. She was subsequently named the Society's 2009 Woman of the Year. All five area Jersey Mike's stores participated in the fundraising effort and matched the $5,000 they received in $1 donations at their stores.
