Nation's Fastest-Growing Restaurant Chain Adds 55 Jobs to the Community

The newest Buffalo Wings & Rings is owned by Eduardo and Leticia Amezcua. The husband-and-wife team will hold a private VIP event on Monday, September 21, 2009, followed by an official grand opening on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, featuring Patrick Sheltra, driver of the No. 60 Buffalo Wings & Rings Dodge Charger and Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Sheltra will be there throughout the day to greet customers and sign autographs. Also, a donation will be presented to the Del Rio chapter of the American Red Cross.
As first-time restaurant owners, the Amezcuas are excited to open a family-friendly concept with a focus on community service in the Del Rio area. They will operate the franchise as a family too, with son Eddie Jr. serving as general manager. Eduardo and Leticia also have two daughters, Claudia and Liliana. "The sports-oriented atmosphere and our focus on affordable family dining is already generating excitement in the Del Rio area," Eduardo said. "We are looking forward to providing our customers with a fun place to gather for quality food. That's what Buffalo Wings & Rings is all about - great food enjoyed in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere."

The Buffalo Wings & Rings menu boasts a wide array of fare suited to both adults and children, including traditional and boneless Buffalo-style wings, and hand-breaded chicken tenders - all available in 10 sauces with five customizable levels of heat. Guests are encouraged to dunk their favorite wings in the Buffalo Wings & Rings homemade bleu cheese dressing. The menu also features massive burgers, crisp salads and authentic charbroiled gyros, plus a full range of appetizers, including nachos, chili-drenched sloppy fries, popcorn shrimp, mozzarella sticks and the chain's namesake "Rings" - curly-q fries available with or without Cajun seasoning.
Del Rio guests will enjoy their Buffalo Wings & Rings favorites alongside sporting events on 26 highdefinition televisions, including four huge projector screens and a monitor in each restroom. The restaurant features 1,500 inches of TV screens that will feature full access to NFL Ticket and other sports action. Buffalo Wings & Rings Del Rio will offer seating for 197 diners inside and 32 on the patio. The restaurant also features arcade games geared toward children and adults.
Buffalo Wings & Rings is creating 55 jobs for the people of Del Rio. Eduardo and Leticia are proud to be part of the community, and have already begun working with local organizations, including Laughlin Air Force Base Military Affairs. The Amezcuas participate in a program that helps service members become acquainted with the community.
Buffalo Wings & Rings is located at 3600 Veterans Boulevard in Del Rio, and will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
