Right at Home Caregiver Receives Humanitarian Award

October 28, 2011 // Franchising.com // On Oct. 23, Kris Golder received the Mother Teresa Compassionate Caregiver Award during the First Annual Senior Care Humanitarian Awards Ceremony at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, Calif. The awards ceremony recognized caregivers, social workers, physicians and administrators who work in the senior care industry in Orange County, California. Golder received the award for his work as a caregiver with Right at Home of Tustin, Calif.

“Kris has gone above and beyond his designated caregiver duties to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors,” said George Strickland, owner of Right at Home of Tustin. “We are very proud of him and appreciate his service to the community.”

The event was sponsored by Answers: Senior Care Solutions, an organization of healthcare professionals that provides resources, services and free education to senior citizens and caregivers. Funds raised from the event benefitted Community SeniorServ, a nonprofit social service agency headquartered in Anaheim, Calif. The agency serves senior citizens in Southern California through its various programs and services, including Meals on Wheels, Senior Lunch Program, Case Management and Adult Day Health Care centers.
