Greenwood Village, CO (PRWEB) February 16, 2012 - Maui Wowi Hawaiian, http://www.mauiwowifranchise.com, Franchise Owners, Rob and Jean McLean of Houston, Texas are slipping into their cowboy boots and buttoning up their Hawaiian shirts as they round up the blenders to start pouring Hawaiian style smoothies to thirsty crowds at this year’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The 20 day event will begin February 28 and continue through March 18 at Reliant Park in Houston, TX.
“This is Rob and Jean’s sixth year as a concessionaire at the event; Maui Wowi is so well received, they keep coming back! With over two million people in attendance at last year’s rodeo, we are excited to have the McLean’s blending our all natural smoothies and serving Maui Wowi premium island coffee to families and patrons at this event,” said Holli Gallaher, Director of Operations for Maui Wowi Hawaiian.
Jean is looking forward to the event and anticipates a busy 20 days. “We get a large volume of clients. There are a lot of repeat and regular customers as well, which is a huge compliment to the product we sell and service we provide. They make it a ritual,” said Jean.
Celebrating 30 years as a premium Hawaiian coffee and fresh fruit smoothie franchise company, Maui Wowi Hawaiian will be serving the "Aloha Spirit" to visitors from their mobile Ka’anapali carts. Rob and Jean have eight carts that can be found throughout Reliant Stadium during the event.
The entertainment includes a wide range of attractions: a World’s Championship Bar-B-Que contest, a horse show, and the famous PBR Rodeo. There is also a list of chart topping artists who will be performing this year, including Lady Antebellum, John Legend and Zac Brown Band.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which started in 1932, is a one of a kind event for people of all ages. “The best thing is that the Rodeo is a fundraising event to give back to education. It gives kids opportunities to raise animals and win prizes and proceeds go towards their education,” said Jean McLean. The Mission Statement on the event’s website says that it is a charitable and educational event, which has given over $283 million towards scholarships, research, and endowments since its inception.
