Fortunately, Brittnee’s exemplary customer service made him to turn back around and get the CBC lab test that would ultimately save his life. Holt’s lab test showed levels which were desperately compromising his health and safety. He would later be diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia and start treatment within two hours of going to his doctor with the results. This type of cancer has a fast onset and aggressive features that are very high risk at the beginning.
“I am truly grateful for one Medical Assistant who did her job in an exceptional way,” said Danny Holt. “She is extraordinary and special to me, because she saved my life.” Brittnee has been an MA at the St. George location for a year and a half. Holt has completed four months of treatment and is in the homestretch of what he believes will be a full recovery.
