35 Chicagoland Locations Hope to Raise $250K for Local Schools

October 04, 2013 // Franchising.com // Chicago, IL - During the month of October, all 35 Chicagoland Jersey Mike’s Subs locations are working to make a sub-stantial difference for local schools through its "Subs for Schools" program. Known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled Jersey Shore-style subs, Jersey Mike’s is hoping to raise $250,000 for a variety of local elementary, middle and high schools as well as colleges through localized in-store fundraisers.

Participating Jersey Mike’s and Fundraisers include (partial list):

• Vernon Hills: From 10/2 through 10/6, the Jersey Mike's restaurant located at 1640 N. Milwaukee Ave. will hold fundraisers benefiting Copeland Manor School, Adler School and Rockland Elementary School.
• Vernon Hills: From 10/9 through 10/13, the Jersey Mike’s restaurant located at 1640 N. Milwaukee Ave. will hold fundraisers benefiting Butterfield Elementary School and Oak Grove Junior High School.
• Mount Prospect: From 10/2 through 10/6, the Jersey Mike’s restaurant located at 106 East Kensington Rd. will hold a fundraiser benefiting St. Paul Lutheran School.
• Mount Prospect: From 10/9 through 10/13, the Jersey Mike’s restaurant located at 106 E. Kensington Rd will hold a fundraiser benefiting St. Raymond School.
• Elmhurst: From 10/23 through 10/27, the Jersey Mike’s restaurant located at 297 North York Rd. will hold a fundraiser benefiting Immaculate Conception School.
• Lakeview: From 10/1 through 10/6, the Jersey Mike’s restaurant located at 3152 N. Broadway will hold a fundraiser benefiting Nettlehorst School.
• Lakeview: From 10/22 through 10/27, the Jersey Mike’s restaurant located at 3152 N. Broadway will hold a fundraiser benefiting Our Lady of Mount Carmel Academy.
• Crystal Lake: From 10/14-10/15, the Jersey Mike’s located at 5006 Northwest Hwy will hold a fundraiser benefiting Crystal Lake Central High School.
• Crystal Lake: From 10/21 through 10/22, the Jersey Mike’s located at 5006 Northwest Hwy will hold a fundraiser benefiting Prairie Ridge High School.
• Crystal Lake: From 10/28 through 10/29, the Jersey Mike’s located at 5006 Northwest Hwy will hold a fundraiser benefiting Cary Grove High School.
• Lake in the Hills: From 10/14 through 10/15, the Jersey Mike’s located at 285 N. Randall Rd. will hold a fundraiser benefiting Jacobs High School.
• Lake in the Hills: From 10/21 through 10/22, the Jersey Mike’s located at 285 N. Randall Rd. will hold a fundraiser benefiting Huntley High School.
• Lake in the Hills:  From 10/28 through 10/29, the Jersey Mike’s located at 285 N. Randall Rd. will hold a fundraiser benefiting Crystal Lake South High School.
• Niles: (Dates TBD), the Jersey Mike’s located at 8484 W. Golf Rd. will hold a fundraiser benefiting Apollo Middle School.

"Giving…Making a Difference in Someone’s Life" is Jersey Mike’s mission statement. Since 2010, locations throughout the country have raised almost $7 million for worthy local charities and distributed more than 500,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
