Franchise owner Adam Shamel held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, February 5 to Sunday, February 9 to support the Apple Valley Police Activities League (AVPAL).
The new restaurant, located at 19179 Bear Valley Road, Suite #8, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to AVPAL.
"Jersey Mike's is hands down the best tasting sub sandwich I've ever had," said Shamel. "In fact, everything about Jersey Mike's is exceptional. As a business owner I was really attracted to this brand because it offers a business model and level of customer service that I can really stand behind."
Shamel added, "I am so grateful for this opportunity to bring Jersey Mike's to the high desert area. As a company we are committed to making a difference in our local communities and we will continue this tradition with our grand opening fundraiser. For the first five days that we are open, we will be raising money for the Apple Valley PAL. One hundred percent of the funds that we raise will be funneled directly into programs that benefit our local youth and make a positive impact for the community."
