ATLANTA - Feb. 25, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Zaxby's Franchising, Inc. (ZFI) today announced the concept has opened its 600th location, which officially opened for business on January 27, 2014 in Washington, NC (20 miles east of Greenville, NC).

The Washington, NC location of Zaxby's is owned and operated by licensees Ryan, Randy and Beverly Tittle, who have four other Zaxby's franchised locations. This is the 5th Zaxby's in the Greenville-Washington, NC DMA.
With the 600th location now open, Zaxby's continues to explore additional growth opportunities outside of the concept's current geographical footprint with the brand focusing on expansion in markets including Oklahoma, Utah, Louisiana, Texas and Indiana.
"While we continue to grow in the southeast, we are actively looking for opportunities outside of the area and are currently engaging with several prospects that could expand the geographical reach of the Zaxby's brand," said McLeroy.
The announcement of Zaxby's 600th location comes on the heels of the brand reaching the $1 billion sales mark in 2013, after only 23 years in business.
