Three Pre-Opening Fundraisers will benefit Monroe Elementary School, Hanford West High School and Sierra Pacific High School

(Nasdaq: HABT), an Irvine-based restaurant company best known for its award-winning Charburgers, will open a Habit Burger Grill at 1731 W. Lacey Blvd.in Hanford. The restaurant will officially open Wednesday, October 28, at 10:30 a.m.

The public will get a preview of the popular menu during fundraisers on Sunday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 27, when The Habit will donate 100 percent of all proceeds to three local schools. On Sunday, October 25, The Habit will open for lunch (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.) benefiting Monroe Elementary School; dinner that evening (5-7 p.m.) will support Hanford West High School. At lunch on Tuesday, October 27 (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.), Sierra Pacific High School will be the beneficiary.

The new Habit Burger Grill in Hanford totals approximately 3,200-square-feet. It accommodates 52 inside with an additional 48 outdoor patio seats. Approximately 35 new jobs have been created to staff the restaurant.
