They decided to open a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in the empty storefront in that very shopping center. This weekend, Reasoner’s dream becomes a reality as the couple is opening their first store together. “I’m very happy to bring Texas-style, slow-smoked barbecue to this area,” Karl says. “I’m looking forward to serving the people in this community.”
