New Restaurant Highlights Black Bear Diner’s Continued Growth and Brings the Family Dining Concept’s Total Restaurant Count to 117
REDDING, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - August 27, 2018 - Black Bear Diner, the fast-growing, family dining concept that offers a one-of-a-kind experience and home-style comfort food classics in a friendly, bear-themed atmosphere, today opened a new company-owned restaurant in Humble, Texas. The opening comes shortly after Black Bear Diner’s entrance into Texas and marks the Redding, California-based operator’s 11th diner opening in 2018.
Details about the new diner are as follows:
“We are grateful for the warm welcome we received in Texas since introducing Black Bear Diner and look forward to bringing our home-style hospitality and comfort food classics to even more guests,” said Black Bear Diner Co-Founder and CEO Bruce Dean. “The new diner also marks our steady progress against our strategic growth plan, which calls for additional corporate- and franchisee-held diners to be opened in 2018. Our momentum is strong as we head into the remainder of the year.”
Most recently, on July 23, Black Bear Diner celebrated the opening of its newest Utah diner, located at 12535 S. Rhetski Lane in Riverton.
Frequently recognized as one of the country’s fastest-growing franchises and a “disruptor” in the family-dining segment, Black Bear Diner has been acknowledged for its growth and performance, especially compared to numerous competitive brands. Black Bear Diner now operates in 10 states, and the company’s strategic plan calls for further expansion east of the Rocky Mountains. Black Bear Diner opened 21 units in 2017.
