Budget Blinds Announces 2020 Community Service Award Winners

Budget Blinds business owners in the U.S. and Canada honored for their support of the elderly, cancer research, a women’s shelter and hunger and tornado relief

March 02, 2020 // Franchising.com // IRVINE, Calif. - Budget Blinds® has announced the recipients of its 2020 Heart & Home Giving Back Award and Budget Blinds Cares Awards given to business owners making a difference in their local communities on behalf of their Budget Blinds franchise.

Collectively, the three Budget Blinds franchisee winners revealed today are befriending convalescent home residents in Northern California, raising money for hunger and tornado relief in South Dakota and providing assistance to hundreds of local families in Alberta, Canada, among other worthwhile causes.

Presented earlier this year by Budget Blinds President Doug Phillip at Bring It Home, the 2020 convention for Budget Blinds franchisees, the awards are given annually to Budget Blinds business owners who best embody the brand’s long-term commitment to caring and giving-back to local communities and individual lives through financial support, volunteerism and ongoing partnership.

The three Budget Blinds community service award winners for 2020 are:

The largest window covering franchise in North America, offering custom blinds, shutters, shades, drapery, and more, for residential and commercial consumers. Budget Blinds serves more than 10,000 communities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Budget Blinds’ nearly 900 business owners have dressed more than 25 million windows since 1992.

Budget Blinds is one of four home improvement brands owned by Irvine, Calif.-based Home Franchise Concepts (HFC) along with Tailored Living®, Concrete Craft® and AdvantaClean®.

“The Heart & Home Giving Back and Budget Blinds Cares awards represent the essence of what Budget Blinds does as a home improvement and home enhancement brand,” said Phillip. “We want to be there to care for our customers whenever they need us, and to help them transform their house into the home of their dreams.”

As part of HFC’s long-term Heart & Home community service initiative, Budget Blinds also partners with such organizations as Home for our Troops and Wounded Warriors Canada to help veterans and others realize their dreams of work, career advancement, home ownership and transition after military service.
