December 02, 2025 // Franchising.com // PHILADELPHIA – On November 13, 2025, Minuteman Press in Philadelphia, PA was honored at the Philadelphia100® Awards celebrating the fastest growing, privately owned companies in the Philadelphia region. What started as an idea to bring recognition to the region has emerged as a new standard of excellence. The Awards Dinner was held at the Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia and was emceed by Jennaphr Frederick, "Good Day Philadelphia' reporter on WTXF-FOX29 and host of "FOX 29 Live at Noon" on FOX Local.
Minuteman Press, Philadelphia was ranked #8 out of 100 on the Philadelphia100® list of fastest growing companies. Father and son owners Jude and Mejire Arijaje attended the event to celebrate their impressive honor of being in the Top 10, with Mejire hitting the stage to officially accept the award.
Jude first joined the Minuteman Press franchise family in 2008 with the Philadelphia location. After growing up in the business, Mejire officially became a second-generation owner in 2016 as the family expanded with their second location in Bala Cynwyd.
Following the Awards Dinner, Mejire posted the following heartfelt message on LinkedIn:
“I grew up in this business — from hand-stuffing envelopes on holidays to walking the streets of South Philly at 16, knocking on doors and asking for business. Those moments taught me what being an entrepreneur really is. I watched my dad Jude Arijaje build this from one 900 sq. ft. shop operation in South Philly into the two-location operation we run today. And now I get to help carry it forward. Seeing our name in the top 10 is motivating. And it’s a reminder that consistency and showing up every day matters more than anything. I’m grateful for our team — the people who make the impossible look easy, who show up early, stay late, and treat every project like it’s their own. That’s the real engine behind this award. I’m grateful for all of our advocates throughout the years. The people who speak our name when we’re not in the room, who repost and share our work, who trust us with their brand and allow us to grow alongside them — you’re the reason we push harder every year. And I’m grateful for my family. Running a family business isn’t always smooth, but it’s meaningful. I’m blessed to have my dad, my wife, and everyone around me in this next chapter of growth. This recognition isn’t the finish line. It’s a checkpoint — proof that what we’re building is working, and fuel for where we’re headed next. We’ve come far, but I feel like we’re just getting started. On to the next level!”

This recognition brings me back to where it all began 18 years ago in a 900 sq. ft. space in South Philly. Today, we operate from two locations we own, supported by a dedicated team in the double digits. It has been a long, steady journey built on faith and hard work.
Above all, I am grateful for my team. We’ve stayed committed to the values that shaped us from the start: hard work, consistency, integrity, and serving people well — principles that always stand the test of time. And we’re proud to say we don’t have clients or customers — we have advocates. People who speak for us even when we’re not in the room. They are a big part of why we stood on that stage yesterday. We are truly thankful.
We’re grateful for how far we’ve come, and even more inspired by what lies ahead. Huge congrats to all the winners and the organizers for an amazing event.
