April 21, 2026 // Franchising.com // DENVER – Hounds Town USA, a leading doggy daycare, boarding and spa franchise, announced the appointment of Courtney Allison as Chief Franchise Officer and Integrator, a new leadership role designed to support the brand’s continued expansion and strengthen franchise operations as the system nears 100 locations nationwide.
In her role, Allison will lead system performance and cross-functional alignment across Hounds Town, with a focus on strengthening communication, enhancing franchisee support, and driving consistency across our growing network.
The appointment comes at a time of rapid growth for both the brand and the pet care industry, as demand for professional dog daycare and boarding services continues to rise alongside record levels of pet ownership and spending in the U.S.
Allison brings more than a decade of franchise leadership experience, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Spavia, where she led operational strategy and system-wide growth for the national day spa franchise. She has also held leadership roles at Hydrate IV Bar and Sola Salons, working closely with franchise owners to improve performance, streamline operations, and support multi-unit expansion.
Her experience scaling franchise systems and building strong franchisee relationships will play a key role as Hounds Town prepares for its next phase of growth.
“Franchising has been at the heart of my career, and I’m thrilled to join Hounds Town in this new chapter,” said Courtney Allison, Chief Franchise Officer of Hounds Town. “I look forward to connecting with our franchise owners, learning about their businesses, and helping them grow while ensuring pets are happy, healthy, and loved.”
Hounds Town USA has grown steadily in recent years, fueled by increased demand for reliable, pack-led dog care and a franchise model built around operational simplicity, strong unit economics, and community-focused ownership.
Founded in 2000 by former NYPD canine handler Michael S. Gould, Hounds Town differentiates itself by prioritizing dogs’ natural instincts through structured pack dynamics—not human-centric daycare trends. The brand’s fully interactive, all-day play model places dogs in thoughtfully structured groups based on size, temperament, and energy level, fostering safe, instinct-driven socialization. With a strict no breed discrimination policy and a team trained in canine behavior and pack management, Hounds Town delivers a more authentic, engaging experience that supports dogs’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
“Courtney brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to franchising that aligns perfectly with where we’re headed as a brand,” said Rob Flanagan, CEO of Hounds Town USA. “Her ability to connect people, systems, and unit economics will strengthen communication across our Towns, deepen our partnerships with Townies, and ensure we continue building Hounds Town the right way.”
With nearly 100 locations open nationwide and additional markets in development, Hounds Town is focused on strengthening its infrastructure to support long-term expansion while maintaining the brand’s hands-on, dog-first approach to care.

Founded in 2000 by former NYPD canine handler and commanding officer of the Nassau County Police Department, Michael S. Gould, Hounds Town USA offers a unique and fun approach to doggy daycare and pet boarding. The brand emphasizes a safe and welcoming environment for all dogs, no matter their size, breed, age, or ability. The fully interactive daycare facility is designed to meet each dog’s physical, social, and psychological needs through a natural pack environment. The all-day play daycare model leaves each canine companion tired and happy, resulting in what has been coined “Hounds Town hangover.” Hounds Town also offers stress-free, affordable spa services, ensuring pet parents have the option to bring home a clean and refreshed pet. Select locations are also proud to offer a Pet Taxi service, ensuring dogs have reliable transportation to and from daycare. Currently, the brand has 100 locations open across the country.
