Positioned within the base’s food court at the 19th Street Mini Mall, the new shop is ready to serve its signature oven-toasted sandwiches and other craveable menu items to military personnel and their families.
Potbelly at Fort Hood will officially open on Tuesday, July 28, with a Grand Opening celebration taking place from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony with base representatives from Fort Hood and the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, along with swag giveaways to commemorate the brand’s arrival on the installation.
While Fort Hood is recognized around the world for its military mission, it is also known as "The Great Place" for its longstanding commitment to supporting the nearly 40,000 soldiers, military families and civilian employees who live, work and serve on the installation every day. Operating hours for the new shop are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
