October 13, 2026 // Franchising.com // WAUSEON, Ohio – Buffalo Wild Wings GO, the takeout- and digital-focused concept from Buffalo Wild Wings, will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Oct.17 at 482 Airport Highway. The restaurant marks the first franchise location for Traci Micheau and business partner Jay Fowler, who will mark the occasion with additional community activities onsite.
To kick things off, the first 50 guests in line ages 18 and older will receive free wings for a year — the equivalent of six free wings a week for 52 weeks. Members of the local community are expected to be onsite as a part of the event.
Opening day is the payoff of a longtime goal for Micheau, who transitioned from a nearly 20-year corporate career with Buffalo Wild Wings and Inspire Brands to franchise ownership with Fowler, a former Marine and fellow small-town native.
“While Buffalo Wild Wings GO is designed for the convenience of takeout and delivery, we felt it was important to create a space where guests can choose to stay and enjoy their meal,” said Micheau. “In a close-knit community like Wauseon, creating a place where friends, families, coworkers and neighbors can effortlessly gather is important. Whether stopping in for a quick lunch, picking up dinner for the family or simply digging into their favorite B-Dubs menu items, our Wauseon team is ready to deliver.”
The menu centers on Buffalo Wild Wings favorites — bone-in and boneless wings, chicken dippers, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, fries and 26 signature sauces and dry rubs — with digital ordering and quick pickup built for busy weeknights and game days. Unlike most GO locations, the Wauseon restaurant also offers dine-in seating.
