Doctors Express was formed in late 2005 by Dr. Scott Burger, Chief Medical Officer, in response to the growing need for high quality and convenient medical care in a warm, friendly environment.
Dr. Burger is a graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland. He then attended medical school at The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Long Island, New York. Dr. Burger completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, New York. He then spent three years as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department of Harlem Hospital, which serves as a major trauma and burn center in Manhattan. While working at Harlem Hospital, Dr. Burger served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
