Bryn and her husband, Joe Erace, own four Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with two more Philadelphia spas opening in 2022. Ten years ago, Joe gifted Bryn a prenatal massage and she was hooked. After becoming a member and chatting with friends who were already franchise owners, she and Joe knew that this would be their next career move.

I picked Hand & Stone because I really wanted to be on a franchise team, there's a power in having a network of owners that are working on the same thing you are that you can call on and use their experiences to help grow your business. I also love the industry, it's a growing industry and at the end of the day I know this business is helping people.

The franchise development team’s punctuality with information and follow up was something I’d never seen. The franchise sales director was there every day to answer my questions, which made the sales process streamlined and easy. Hand & Stone is the best spa out there for mass-market America, which made it more attractive than other brands. The company has a great model in place that is contributing to its growth, and the more I talked to other franchisees, the more I was intrigued.

After learning all about Hand & Stone, their corporate team and their culture, this was a no brainer for me.

After evaluating a few other concepts I realized a couple things; I love this industry and it's altruistic mission and there's only one brand to be with and that's Hand & Stone.

I was a client for a couple years and I really loved the whole membership model of this business. My wife and I were looking for new business opportunities and we were already impressed with the Hand & Stone brand but the leadership of the team was what made Hand & Stone the clear winner.

I wanted to start my own business in the health and wellness industry and what attracted me to Hand & Stone is that when clients come to us, they leave better than when they came.

What won me over was the corporate team and how there's such a big emphasis on education.
