Bold Flavors to Brand New Locations; Rally’s® to Expand into West Branch, Michigan

Mike & Joyce Stuck, Longtime Big Boy Restaurant Owners, Awarded Quick Service Drive-Thru Franchise As Part of Legendary Brand’s Planned Expansion in Michigan

WEST BRANCH, Mich. (PRWEB) August 27, 2013 - Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc., the largest double drive-thru chain in the United States, is excited to announce the planned opening of a Rally’s restaurant in the West Branch market, spearheaded by local entrepreneurs, Michael and Joyce Stuck.

This signing is the most recent for the iconic restaurant chain, which continues to open new stores by attracting new entrepreneurs as part of the brand’s ongoing expansion plan to grow in new and existing markets.

“We’re very excited to have Mike and Joyce join our family of franchisees,” Jennifer Durham, Vice President of Franchise Development for Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. said. “These experienced Big Boy operators will bring hospitality and Rally’s unique, bold flavors and value to guests on the go in Michigan.”

The Stucks have decades of experience in the family restaurant segment. The husband and wife team has owned and operated a Big Boy Restaurant in West Branch, Mich., since 1976, and continues to oversee that brand’s daily operations. Their new Rally’s will be opening directly next to their existing Big Boy location, which is situated on a well-traveled interstate in Michigan that offers the Rally’s high visibility and through-traffic at a key intersection.

The West Branch location will be home to the newest Rally’s drive-thru prototype, complete with high visibility LED lights and a double-winged drive-thru. The Stucks view the fun, flavorful and diverse Rally’s menu as a way to bring new options to their community, while also expanding their restaurant portfolio.

“I’m confident our Rally’s location will be a great new addition to the West Branch area, and we’re very enthused to be opening the newest Rally’s prototype and provide unique food options to guests traveling off I-75,” Michael Stuck said. “We’re proud to join the Rally’s team, and excited to help grow the brand in Michigan through corporate’s continued support.”

Rally’s continues to add craveable menu selections and has introduced daring flavors to its fans. Options such as Loaded Potato Skins, Cold Creations and the original Big Buford® aim to bring the freshest ingredients and boldest flavors to hungry guests. Rally’s continues to innovate, and remains true to its commitment to providing “100 percent beef, 100 percent quality and 100 percent flavor.”

“We’re constantly creating new ways to improve our mouth-watering menu and develop our restaurants in select markets,” Durham said. “With our newest restaurant in West Branch, and with 59 additional Checkers and Rally’s locations open throughout Michigan, we still have plenty of opportunity to expand into additional markets and help new and existing franchisees run successful businesses in the most competitive marketplaces.”

Checkers and Rally’s continues to grow nationally with opportunities for ownership available in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, New York and Washington D.C., among other cities.
