(Checkers®/Rally's®), the largest double drive-thru chain in the United States, is expanding its presence across the nation through a new signing with Twin Towers Trading Site Management (TTTSM). The burger chain, which traditionally focused on drive-thru, will open non-drive-thru restaurants in three additional Walmart locations. The Site Management Group, which has brought food services to more than 1,800 Walmart stores, will open and manage three Checkers restaurants across North Carolina and Mississippi.
TTTSM will open the doors to its first North Carolina Checkers location in Walmart in mid-November and anticipates that its two Mississippi restaurants will start serving customers in February 2014. Currently, Checkers operates 2 restaurants in Super Walmarts in Haymarket, Virginia, and Oldsmar, Florida.

Since 2005, TTTSM has been connecting food franchises with major retail stores, such as Walmart, by managing the prime real estate space available within their locations. The company has extensive experience in creating opportunities for existing food service operators, having successfully placed national restaurant chains such as Subway, Papa John's, Sonic and Auntie Annie's in 1,851 Walmart stores nationwide. While TTTSM typically leases out spaces to franchisees, the company is confident that Checkers will garner extreme success, and has chosen to retain the rights to the three Walmart locations. Leviton and his team are looking forward to taking Checkers, well-known for its drive-thru operations, into a new restaurant format by developing the three Walmart locations.
