'Tis the Season for Three Toasty, Comfort Sandwiches

December 09, 2013 // Franchising.com // AUSTIN – This year, Schlotzsky's is warming up the winter chill with a trio of Winter-rific sandwiches. From now through February 9, the home of The Original® round toasted sandwich will feature three toasted sandwiches dressed with comfort food favorites – Hickory Ham & Gouda, Turkey & Cranberry, and Turkey, Bacon & Swiss.

"As temperatures drop, we invite our customers to warm up at Schlotzsky's with the three Winter-rific sandwiches," said Kelly Roddy, president of Schlotzsky's. "From their unique flavor profile to generous portions, we look forward to continuing to serve guests only the best this season."

The three new Winter-rific Schlotzsky's sandwiches include:

Hickory Ham & Gouda

• Shaved hickory ham, Gouda cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onion with tangy barbecue sauce on our toasted Sourdough bun.

Turkey & Cranberry

• Smoked turkey breast, lettuce and tomato with light mayonnaise and cranberry sauce, served on our toasted Sourdough bun.

Turkey, Bacon & Swiss

• Smoked turkey breast, crispy bacon strips, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and red onion, with light mayonnaise on our toasted Sourdough bun.

Additionally, Schlotzsky's is making holiday gifting easy this year. Every time you purchase a total of $25 in Schlotzsky's gift cards – perfect for stocking stuffers, Secret Santas and the hard-to-buy-for people on your list – you will receive a $5 redemption card for yourself. Redemption cards are valid through February 28, 2014 at participating locations.
