New Braunfels gets Lotz Better® with a New Schlotzsky's®

Celebrate Schlotzsky's Grand Opening Dec. 31.

December 30, 2013 // Franchising.com // NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – Schlotzsky's®, home of The Original® round-toasted sandwich and famous Fresh-from-Scratch® buns, today announced the opening of its newest Lotz Better® location at 1776 Independence Drive in New Braunfels.

Schlotzsky's will kick off its grand opening on December 31st at 10:30 a.m. Doors are open to the public for a day of fun-filled events and special offers, including $1.99 small The Original sandwiches all day and $1 Cinnabon Minibons from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

"With our addictive recipes, upbeat surroundings and funny sayings, we're adding tremendous flavor to the New Braunfels fast-casual dining scene," said Kevan Price, who co-owns the new location with his wife Kelly, as well as a second Schlotzsky's location in New Braunfels. "It's hard not to smile when you walk into our bright new restaurant, smell the bread baking and see how much fun we have with 'bun humor.' The local community is in for a real treat."

Built with Schlotzsky's rebranding efforts in mind, the restaurant includes a co-branding deal with Cinnabon.

Schlotzsky's offers more than 15 different sandwiches on its famous unique round freshly-baked buns, as well as gourmet pizzas made with Fresh-from-Scratch crusts, freshly made-to-order tossed salads, a variety of soups and delectable desserts, including a Cinnabon Express bakery where guests can enjoy a number of Cinnabon's warm, homemade treats, including the Cinnabon Classic Roll and CinnaPacks.

"With all of the new elements that enhance the Schlotzsky's experience, we stay true to our roots by offering only the highest-quality, fresh ingredients that include baking our sourdough bread from scratch every day," said Kelly Roddy, president of Schlotzsky's.
