Franchise Growth Spurs Hiring and Advancement at Freddy's

March 20, 2014 // // Wichita, Kan. – With store growth projected to nearly quadruple over the next decade, quick-casual restaurant chain Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers adds seven new career positions to help support its franchise expansion. The company currently operates 112 nationwide locations and projects to increase that number by 40 percent through the end of 2014.

Jacqueline K. Levings joined Freddy's recently as General Counsel. With more than 30 years of experience in general business law, she's advised numerous private and public companies. Levings will counsel Freddy's on employment, real estate and franchise law, contract preparation and negotiation, and will provide regular guidance to the company's executive group.

Codi Busse and Jennie Doose, both of whom previously held in-store positions at company operated locations, will now aid the restaurant's franchise training program. "Codi and Jennie are now a part of our Franchise Business Coach team. Here, they directly assist franchise groups when we open a new location. Additionally, each Freddy's site receives a visit from an FBC team member at least three times per year," commented COO Scott Redler. "Many congratulations to Codi and Jennie; we're very grateful our expansion continues to foster this type of organic growth."

Freddy's recently hired its public relations intern of seven months and Wichita State University graduate, Alexandra Pearce, to fill the position of Public Relations Coordinator. Pearce will aid in the distribution of media materials and assist in corporate communication.

"In addition to the 17 states in which we currently operate, we'll soon expand into Idaho, Wyoming, Minnesota, and Arkansas, as well as Tennessee, Georgia, North and South Carolina," said Zach Woodburn, Director of Franchise Support. "Codi and Jennie will help us meet the demands of our extended reach and we've also created and filled another three Franchise Business Coach positions. As our numbers increase, preparation and planning is key; these seven new team members will help broaden our franchise assistance system and ensure we continue to execute at a consistently high level."
