KFC Named Most Trusted Quick-Service Restaurant Brand In India By The Brand Trust Report

March 05, 2015 // Franchising.com // Louisville, KY – KFC has been named the Most Trusted Quick-Service Restaurant Brand in India, ahead of all other Indian and global quick-service restaurant brands, by The Brand Trust Report 2015 study. KFC also ranked as the number one brand in India on the Retail Category list. KFC is part of Yum! Restaurants India, a division of Yum! Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM).

The Brand Trust Report is one of the most in-depth studies conducted about ‘Brand Trust’ worldwide. The study is a result of 13,000 hours of research with sociologists, communication experts and behavioral scientists. Issued annually by TRA, a Comniscient Group company, the recent study assessed 19,000 brands from which the top 1,000 were selected for the report.

KFC is the fastest growing quick-service restaurant brand in India, quadrupling in size over the last five years to 395 restaurants. Pizza Hut has been named the Most Trusted Food Service Brand by The Economic Times (India) for the last 10 consecutive years.
