Franchise Update Media Announces 2022 Franchise Innovation Awards Finalists
June 22, 2022 // Franchising.com // SAN JOSE, CA - Franchise Update Media, a leading resource for franchising information, education, and opportunities, has announced the finalists for the two most coveted awards in the company's annual Franchise Innovation Awards competition: the overall Franchise Marketing Leadership Award, and the Franchise Operations & Technology Leadership Award.
Each category has four finalists who will present their entries on June 22 at the new Franchise Customer Experience Conference (FCXC) in Atlanta, presented in partnership with the IFA. The winners in each category will be revealed that evening at the Annual Awards Dinner.
In the Marketing & Branding category, the Franchise Marketing Leadership Award is given to the brand that created the most innovative and successful marketing campaign in the past year.
In the Operations & Technology categories, the Franchise Operations & Technology Leadership Award recognizes the brand that demonstrated the most innovative use of technology to enhance operations in the past year.
Franchise Update Media's annual Innovation Awards celebrate the “best of the best.” The awards identify and recognize the franchise brands creating and implementing the most original and successful innovation strategies and tactics. Winners were chosen by a panel of judges who evaluated the objectives and results of more than 100 entrants.
The Franchise Marketing Leadership Award finalists are:

- Best PR Campaign: Goldfish Swim School
- Cause Marketing Champion: Kiddie Academy
- Local Marketing Leadership: Handyman Connection
The Franchise Operations & Technology Leadership Award finalists are:
- Most Innovative Building Design, Remodel, or Prototype: Inspire Brands
- Most Innovative Operations Team: Smoothie King
- Most Innovative Use of Technology and Most Innovative Use of Technology, Services: Checkers & Rally's Restaurants
- Most Innovative Product Introduction: Hand & Stone Massage and Spa
