America’s #1 Double Drive-Thru Brand Brings Bold Flavors and Affordable Convenience to Mississippi

Checkers and Rally’s, the double drive-thru burger and fries’ brand, announced its latest restaurant opening in Amory situated at 1211 U.S. Highway 278. The location will be owned and operated by multi-unit franchisee Sedrick Turner, bringing a mouthwatering dining experience to the local community. Turner currently has a total of 15 Checkers and Rally’s locations in his portfolio, with Amory being his ninth Checkers restaurant in the state.

Turner has over 30 years of franchising experience and channels his passion for entrepreneurship into not only opening new restaurants, but also ensuring satisfaction of his guests. As the President of Global Midsouth Corporation, he has established and joined marketing co-ops in local markets. Sedrick actively supports his community through various philanthropic initiatives, including establishing a significant scholarship for his alma mater's band, a factor he credits for shaping his strong work ethic. His current endeavors involve adding more restaurant locations through strategic development and acquisition, further solidifying his imprint on the fast-food landscape in the Mississippi region.

The latest Amory restaurant highlights the continued growth of the brand, with an updated prototype look and simplified operating model to better service the community. This opening marks the 23rd Checkers location in Mississippi.
