Restaurant Industry Veteran Continues East Coast Expansion of the Iconic Double-Drive Thru Brand
May 19, 2025 // Franchising.com // PHILADELPHIA – Checkers and Rally’s, the iconic drive-thru brand known for its craveable, bold flavors and value-packed menu, is proud to announce the grand reopening of its Philadelphia restaurant located at 7115 Stenton Ave. This reopening is spearheaded by local entrepreneur Dinesh Goswami of Camden Burgers, LLC, who owns and operates several businesses across the East Coast.
The Stenton restaurant marks Goswami’s eighth Checkers & Rally’s location, joining a growing network that includes four locations in Philadelphia, two in Wilmington, Delaware, and one in Camden, New Jersey. His ability to drive growth through acquiring and revitalizing existing locations speaks to his business acumen and long-term vision for expansion.

Goswami, a former banker turned powerhouse operator, has been a major force in the restaurant industry since 1997. His current portfolio includes Popeyes, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut locations across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, giving him a deep understanding of operating high-volume concepts in diverse markets. Beyond growing his footprint, Goswami is deeply engaged in the communities he serves. He has spearheaded initiatives that benefit local neighborhoods, including partnerships with Boys & Girls Clubs. He is also proud to create new job opportunities with each location, including the reopening of the Stenton restaurant, helping strengthen the local economy.
