Birdcall and Little Man Ice Cream Debut Sweet-and-Savory Sensation: Salted Maple Chicken & Waffles Sandwich

April 30, 2026 // Franchising.com // DENVER—This May and June, two of Denver’s most iconic homegrown brands—Birdcall and Little Man Ice Cream—are teaming up to introduce a bold new limited-time offering that blends sweet and savory in a totally unexpected way: the Salted Maple Chicken & Waffles sandwich.

This indulgent creation blends comfort food classics with an unexpected twist. Built with a warm waffle, crispy chicken, and smoky bacon, the sandwich is elevated by a scoop of Little Man’s signature Salted Maple Ice Cream. Finished with a drizzle of maple syrup and topped with a second waffle, this sweet-and-savory stack delivers a crave-worthy experience in every bite.

Priced at $10.95, the new sandwich will be available for a limited time only, running throughout May and June at all Birdcall locations throughout Colorado, Arizona, and Texas.

According to Birdcall’s Vice President of Culinary Innovation, Amador Acosta, the response during early tastings has been overwhelmingly positive.

“We’re always looking for ways to push the boundaries of what a chicken sandwich can be, and this collaboration is a perfect example of that mindset in action,” he added. “Partnering with Little Man Ice Cream brought a fun, inventive energy to the process, and together we’ve created something that’s both unexpected and incredibly craveable.”

To ensure the highest quality, the sandwich will be available exclusively for in-store purchase and will not be offered for delivery or third-party ordering, as the ice cream component is best enjoyed fresh. The Salted Maple Ice Cream will not be sold separately.
